Whether you officially title yourself a vegan, vegetarian or the latest addition – the flexitarian – there’s no denying that fruit, veg & grains are trending like never before.

We’re certainly not saying we’re veering away from the meaty stuff as we love our buttermilk chicken burger and our chorizo Scotch egg as much as the next person. However, we like to make sure there’s something for everyone, and we’ve got some gorgeous meat and fish free dishes for those who feel so inclined.

And as it’s #NationalVegetarianWeek, we’ve highlighted a few of our favourite vegetarian dishes below, from healthy breakfasts right through to late night snacks to celebrate all things plant!

Breakfast Bowls 

It’s traditional to start with the first and most important – and to plenty their favourite – meal of the day: breakfast (and brunch obvi). There are plenty of different takes on what breakfast ‘is’, so the most important part is to cater to all tastes.

For example, some like to start how they mean to go on by going uber healthy – well if that’s your scene then our quinoa bowl with spinach, avocado & poached egg has got your name on it. Our wild mushrooms on sourdough with poached egg dish is damn fine too. If trad is your vibe – opt for the eggs Florentine or egg white omelette.

For some, and this is particularly popular for weekend brunch, we want the carb load – and frankly what’s better than some fat, fluffy blueberry pancakes with maple syrup?

On another note, as is often heard, ‘there’s nothing quite like a full English’ – well have no fear; you can still get involved in that with our full Vegetarian breakfast! With eggs any style, beans, buttered spinach, mushrooms, avocado, grilled tomato & hash browns you will not be disappointed.

The best of the rest

Our all-day menu allows you to pick and choose and combine any which way – whether you want a couple of starters or one main for your lunch, grazing through to dinner with sharing boards and flatbreads or tucking into a full 3 course feast after work there’s vegetarian delights all round.

Focusing on seasonal ingredients our menu is packed full of summery greens from our broad bean and ricotta on toast to pea and lemon risotto with mascarpone.

The asparagus & poached egg is always a favourite option whilst the halloumi burger with hummus, red pepper & flat mushroom is ideal for those with an appetite to kill. Out drinking with friends? Why not order a mezze board with a trio of fries to share?
